Milansport Sanding Drums V2 – Precision Bodyshell Finishing with Your Dremel

The Milansport Sanding Drums V2 (Item MS-SP02V2) are the second generation of Milansport's bodyshell preparation accessory. Built to solve one of the most common headaches in bodyshell finishing — sanding round areas evenly — this tool makes it easier to reach every part of the shell, including shapes that are tricky to sand down with a traditional file.

The drums are 3D-printed and hold high-quality sandpaper rolls specifically suited to Lexan and plexi materials. They mount onto a dremel tool via a 3.1mm-thick adapter/holder, compatible with most dremel tools on the market.

The set includes two different diameters, letting you tackle different areas of the bodyshell and sand down every edge you need.

How to use

Mount the adapter onto the drum you want to use and tighten the screw in the holder to lock it in place. Note: the adapter is a rubber holder, so you'll need to adjust the centering to get the drum perfectly balanced before use. Once secured, mount it on your dremel and you're ready to shape that shell with precision.
