Ultimate Upgrades

Clipless Body Mounting
High-flying stunts and 60+ mph desert speed runs won’t upset Raptor R’s tough clipless body. Locking tabs hold the body tightly, but release in just seconds to access the chassis. Raptor R’s hidden latching system maximizes convenience and scale realism by removing traditional body clips which would interrupt the body’s clean lines.

Extreme 4s Power
Raptor R 4X4 Ultimate uses the extreme Velineon 540XL brushless motor found in the Maxx® monster truck, backed by the VXL-4s™ speed control with built-in telemetry and selectable 6.0 or 7.4-volt BEC. With 4s LiPo power on tap, Raptor R Ultimate defies the laws of physics as it rockets its way to 60 mph and beyond with unrelenting acceleration.

Included Wireless Module
A Traxxas Link™ Wireless Module comes standard on Raptor R 4X4 Ultimate along with factory-installed telemetry sensors to unlock the full potential of the TQi™ transmitter. Monster Servo
Raptor R Ultimate comes equipped with a high-performance metal gear servo that packs massive torque inside a heat-dissipating aluminum center case. The fully waterproof design features full ball-bearing support for smooth power delivery in any environment. With up to 486 oz-in of torque at 7.4 volts, there’s nothing this servo can’t handle.

Large black chrome wheels faithfully replicate Raptor R's full-size rims. Optimum-Geometry Steering

A dual-bellcrank design pivots on rubber-sealed ball bearings for smooth action in the harshest conditions. The integrated cam-operated servo saver protects the servo gears from crash impacts without sacrificing steering precision.

Modular Chassis

Raptor R Ultimate's modular chassis features front and rear bulkheads that remove easily with just a few screws. In less than a minute using a power screwdriver, you'll have full access for easy service and adjustment.

Waterproof Receiver Box

Raptor R Ultimate incorporates a compact, waterproof receiver box to save weight and provide a clean, high-tech appearance. The antenna and servo wires route neatly through a patented watertight seal to protect the receiver from water. No matter what the weather, Raptor R is ready for action!

Quick Release Battery Compartment

Raptor R Ultimate stows its battery deep in the chassis, behind reinforced sidewalls for maximum protection. A quick-release, dual-height battery mount accommodates a wide range of LiPo batteries from the 7600 mAh 2-cell (2869X) to the massive 5000 mAh 14.8-volt 4-cell (2889X). A beefed-up latch provides solid locking action to keep batteries safe no matter how wild the action gets.

5-Channel Receiver with Failsafe

The TQi 2.4 GHz radio system stores up to thirty models in memory, allowing you to use one transmitter for your entire RC garage. In the event of signal loss, the receiver automatically returns the throttle to neutral and holds the last steering position.

Velineon VXL-4s

The advanced Velineon VXL-4ST™ ESC not only puts down the power, but it also has built-in telemetry for real-time speed, temperature, and voltage data. An extra-large heat sink allows the ESC to run cooler for extended run times. Three programmable drive profiles, two-stage low voltage detection, and selectable BEC voltage make the VXL-4s as versatile as it is powerful.

Fixed Gear Adapter

Fixed gear adapters take the guesswork out of setting your gear mesh. The fixed positioning keeps the gear mesh tight, even after the harshest landings. The innovative motor mount keeps the Velineon motor locked firmly in place with just a single screw for easy maintenance.

GTR Shocks

GTR shocks represent the peak of suspension technology. The PTFE-coated aluminum shock bodies hold over 70% more oil than the standard Ultra Shocks™ and their slick titanium-nitride coated shafts resist scuffing, increase durability, and eliminate "stiction." X-ring seals keep oil in and dirt out for smooth, consistent damping, and plush suspension action. Spring preload and ride height changes are as simple as turning the threaded collars--no spacers required.

Total Steering Authority

Raptor R Ultimate's waterproof 2275 metal gear servo competes with expensive aftermarket servos with over 20 pounds (347 oz-in) of torque at 6.0 volts and unbelievable 486 oz-in of torque at 7.4 volts.

Extruded Aluminum Driveshaft

A one-piece extruded aluminum driveshaft is both strong and lightweight. Internal splines fit directly onto the input shafts of the front and rear drive assemblies. Altogether, this shaft runs straight and true for ultra-smooth driveline operation.

Torque-Biasing Center Drive

The Torque-Biasing Center Drive absorbs shocks to improve driveline durability and distributes equal power to all four wheels for mind-bending acceleration.
