Traxxas honors the Pathfinder with a beautifully detailed reproduction mounted on the proven TRX-4® chassis, capturing the spirit of the original with Traxxas performance and durability.

Officially Licensed & Authentically Detailed

The TRX-4 Pathfinder sets the standard for scale detail in RC crawlers. This officially licensed replica body brings classic 80’s style back to life with authentic molded details, period-correct badging, and stunning high-gloss paint. The clipless body mounting system provides a clean, flowing look while securely holding tight on the trail.

Precision-molded body details include a spare tire carrier, side mirrors, fender flares, and windshield wipers for a new level of scale realism. Functional rock sliders help prevent damage and provide extra support. The detailed front grille with integrated lenses and a push bar adds to the rugged appearance, and detailed headlights and taillights can accept the optional Pro Scale Light Kit (sold separately).

The TRX-4’s extreme off-road capability lies in the technology beneath its rugged exterior, allowing it to adapt to any terrain or driving style:

• The Power of Portals: Portal axles lift the truck at the wheels, providing huge center pumpkin ground clearance of 3.14" (80 mm). Raised suspension links and driveshafts clear rocks underneath the chassis, preventing high centering.

• Remote Locking Differentials: Traxxas allows you to lock and unlock both the front and rear differentials remotely from your transmitter. Sleeved micro cables control the differential action for a true-to-scale appearance without limiting suspension articulation.

• High/Low Range Transmission: Shift into low range on the TQi transmitter for incredible 4WD pulling torque or into high range for blasting down the trail.

• 45° Steering Angle: With the front differential unlocked, the superior 45° steering angle allows the truck to easily negotiate around tight bends, avoiding difficult reversing maneuvers.

High-Performance Components

• 3s Power System: The powerful 3s LiPo-capable XL-5™ HV ESC and Titan® 21T motor provide endless torque for steep climbs and all-out speed on flat terrain. This efficient system can provide up to 2 hours of run time. The XL-5 HV also features specific Trail and Crawl profiles for different driving styles.

• Durable Drivetrain: Heavy-duty steel links with thick 5 mm diameters and steel hollow balls ensure durability. Hardened steel U-joints on the front and rear driveshafts provide smooth, reliable power delivery. A twin friction plate slipper clutch offers additional protection from motor stalls.

• GTS Aluminum Shocks: Oil-filled coil-over shocks deliver silky-smooth damping and feature threaded aluminum bodies for easy ride height adjustments.

• 1.9" Wheels and Tires: The wheels come pre-glued and mounted to aggressive, S1-compound Canyon Trail tires. Deep tread blocks and trail-tuned foam inserts provide maximum traction and realistic sidewall flex.

• Waterproof Electronics: The entire TRX-4 is fully waterproof, allowing you to tackle creeks, snow, and mud without worry.
