• Authentic Scale Details: The new aerodynamic short course body cuts cleanly through the air to reduce high-speed lift while bolstering tire downforce. It comes pre-decorated with vivid race graphics and officially licensed BFGoodrich® Mud Terrain T/A® tires pre-glued to black split-spoke wheels. To optimize rear-wheel drive handling dynamics, the truck features a softer tire compound on the rear axle. Tough tube bumpers, nerf bars, and heavy-duty internal body reinforcements prevent pull-through damage during rough track racing.
• Innovation & Heavy-Duty 2WD Driveline (Innovation): The Slash 2WD features a high-performance, low center of gravity (Low-CG) chassis modeled in a high-tech carbon-fiber textured gray composite. Keeping the battery and electronics low drastically increases cornering speed and tracking composure. Power flows through the legendary Magnum 272™ metal-gear transmission, backed by an adjustable Torque-Control™ slipper clutch and a planetary steel gear differential. The entire suspension and outer drive system are heavily ruggedized with factory-installed Extreme Heavy-Duty components and Extreme HD driveshafts.
• Clipless Body Mounting System: No body posts or clips clutter the smooth appearance. Heavy-duty clipless latches grip the body tightly during high-flying jumps and tumble-action rovers, yet release in seconds when it is time for a quick battery swap.
• Velineon 3s Brushless Horsepower: The system relies on the all-new fan-cooled Velineon® VX3 electronic speed control paired with the V3200 sensorless brushless motor. It delivers 35+ mph on 2s LiPo and clears 50+ mph on 3s LiPo with no gearing changes needed. The ESC provides high-resolution linear braking and real-time telemetry via Traxxas Link™, while the V3200 uses internal fan cooling to ensure prolonged run times.
• Suspension & Steering Control: Composite large-bore GTR shocks carry over 70% more oil capacity than standard Ultra Shocks, completely neutralizing damping fade over rough terrain. Steering responses match the agile Low-CG chassis thanks to a new dual bellcrank design with a cam-operated servo saver and a new steel front tie bar, driven by the 2057 digital metal-gear waterproof servo.
• Traxxas Stability Management (TSM): TSM® works invisibly to help tame the explosive 3s rear-wheel drive power. It preserves arrow-straight tracking during hard acceleration or heavy braking on slick surfaces without ever clipping throttle output, allowing the user to experience controlled, high-speed power slides.
