• Authentic Scale Details & Monster Wheels (Scale Details): The clipless body flaunts bold, aggressive styling accented by molded grille and tailgate inserts, alongside heavy-duty internal body reinforcements that reduce pull-through damage. The truck stands wide on large 2.8" black monster truck wheels with removable center caps, wrapped in all-new Talon MXT tires. Their tall monster truck profile and angled tread design offer massive forward bite and relentless multi-surface traction.
• Innovation, Maxx-Inspired Chassis & Geometry (Innovation): The Stampede 2WD introduces an all-new tub chassis modeled directly after the extreme Maxx® monster truck. Structural shock towers are integrated seamlessly into the chassis layout, reinforced by crossbar supports and double-shear shock mounts. The suspension design is fully modernized with a double-wishbone setup, double-shear connections, HD suspension arms, and ultra-tough bulkheads. Power flows through the reliable Magnum 272™ metal-gear transmission, backed by a Torque-Control™ slipper clutch and a planetary steel gear differential.
• Clipless Latching & Protected Battery Tray: Rugged internal clipless latches secure the body tightly through extreme landings and wheelies, yet release instantly with one hand. The updated battery tray positions and protects the battery deep within the monocoque chassis, held fast by a rugged clip-free battery strap. A heavy-duty front bumper and integrated rear wheelie bar come standard to absorb hard impacts.
• Velineon 3s Brushless Power System: The powertrain is driven by the all-new fan-cooled Velineon® VX3 electronic speed control and the V3200 sensorless brushless motor (3200 Kv, 5 mm shaft). This combo unleashes brutal acceleration, launching the truck past 55 km/h on 2S LiPo and clearing 80 km/h on 3S LiPo. The ESC features a large aluminum heatsink, high-resolution linear braking, three driving profiles, and real-time telemetry capability.
• Composite GTR Shocks: Managing the large suspension travel are new large-bore composite GTR shocks with 3.5 mm shafts. Holding over 70% more oil volume than traditional Ultra Shocks, they eliminate thermal damping fade for a plush, consistent ride.
• Traxxas Stability Management (TSM): TSM® works invisibly behind the scenes to harness the extreme 2WD power on loose or slick surfaces. It continuously applies fine steering corrections to prevent spin-outs during hard acceleration or braking without ever blunting your throttle response.
