The clipless pre-painted body is heavily armored with a rugged inner cage, integrated roof rollover skids, and a tailgate protector to maximize service life. Power meets the terrain via large 2.8" black monster truck wheels with removable center caps, wrapped in all-new Talon MXT tires that use an angled open-block tread pattern for massive forward bite while slinging mud clear.
• Innovation, Extreme HD Upgrade Kit & Modular Base (Innovation): Built to survive punishing terrain, the Stampede 4X4 features the factory-installed Extreme Heavy-Duty Upgrade Kit. Caster blocks, axle carriers, steering blocks, and suspension arms are bolstered with extra material. The shaft-driven 4WD driveline features a rigid center driveshaft and the all-new Torque-Biasing Center Drive system to damp driveline shocks. Power transfers seamlessly through massive Maxx-duty® driveshafts equipped with 6 mm axles and steel wheel hexes. Its modular composite tub chassis allows the front assembly to slide out via 5 screws and the rear via 4 screws for lightning-fast bench maintenance.
• Clipless Latching & Patented Self-Righting: No loose body clips are found on this machine; the rugged clipless latching panels offer rigid body mounting and quick one-handed access. If aggressive driving lands the truck upside down, Traxxas' exclusive patented Self-Righting feature has you covered. Simply press a button on the transmitter and the Stampede will rock its massive tires back and forth, flipping itself upright in seconds to keep the fun going.
• Velineon 3s Brushless Horsepower: The system relies on the all-new fan-cooled Velineon® VX3 electronic speed control and the V3200 sensorless brushless motor (3200 Kv, 5 mm shaft). This brushless combo pushes the truck past 55 km/h on 2S LiPo and clears 80 km/h on 3S LiPo. The ESC features a large aluminum heatsink, high-resolution linear braking, three selectable driving profiles, and real-time telemetry capability.
• Plush GTR Shocks & Monster Ground Clearance: With almost 62 mm of center ground clearance, the Stampede 4X4 moves effortlessly over obstacles that trap lesser trucks. Its long-travel suspension is managed by large-bore composite GTR shocks featuring 3.5 mm shafts and over 70% more oil capacity than standard Ultra Shocks, completely neutralizing damping fade.
• Traxxas Stability Management (TSM): TSM® works invisibly behind the scenes to optimize the extreme 3s power output on loose or slippery surfaces. It continuously corrects steering direction to keep the truck tracking straight during hard acceleration or braking without ever dulling throttle response.
